Emma is a London based singer songwriter. She first learned the art of songwriting while living in Portugal, and has since been awarded Finalist position in the prestigious UK Songwriting Contest.
Emma writes predominantly on guitar and she also has performed at the Birmingham Symphony Hall as a soprano.
Her own material is distinctly mellow and folky. With influences as diverse as The Cranberries, to The Gypsy Kings, Bon Jovi, Musical Theatre and catchy pop songs on mainstream radio, she likes to write positive, uplifting songs that brighten your day.
Emma has worked with a number of successful musicians such as Rosanna Eastman and Sharam Gill, and even shared a stage with Hollywood and West End musical star Renee Montemayor at a charity music event.
She is a regular festival performer, and has played at O'Neils Carnaby Street Festival and Croydon Food and Music Festival. She has also had her music appreciated by international judges in the Masters of Songwriting competition. Emma was delighted to be awarded a Finalist trophy.
Emma is going to put together her first album and launch herself over the next year. In the meanwhile she has been enjoying playing at summer festivals, which including RawFest UK and Surbition Festival.
