OPDC Winter Warmer 

Date: 3 December 

Times: 5:45 - 7p.m.

Location: The Collective Old Oak, Old Oak Lane, London, NW10 6FF

This is a social event primarily, for people living and working in Old Oak and Park Royal Area, so we would like a busker who has a connection to this area if possible. 

Looking for any type of music, solos, duos, groups. 

Performer fee - £140 and you can sell your own original material. 

Performer must bring their own battery powered amp and equipment. Over 16 years olds only please and must have Public Liability Insurance and I.D.

Gin Palace pop up 

Date: 16 November (but with more opportunities up until 22 December)

Times: 6 - 8p.m. 

Location: Soho 

Come and entertain in the heart of Soho celebrating all things London. We're looking for solo or duo acts of any music genre. 

Performer fee is £140.

Mains power available. This is an intimate small space so acoustic is preferred. 

Performers must be 18 or above and provide I.D. Public Liability Insurance preferred.

Eat and Drink Festival 

Date: 22 March - 7 April 

Times: Whole or half days - 11am - 2.30pm or 2.30pm - 5.30pm for half days or 11am-5.30pm for whole day

Location: Olympia London 

The Eat & Drink Festival will have a real street food feel.

We are looking for groups, buskers and musicians to help make the atmosphere amazing. In return for performances throughout the day, as well as offering you the chance to showcase your talents, we advertise you on our website (70,00 hits a day) and social media, on show information boards and give you access to up to 210,00 visitors. You would busk at The Great Eat area of the show, a large designated seating area, and can collect money from visitors and distribute marketing material/sell CDs during your designated times. 

You will receive £40 cash, a £10 lunch voucher and would have scheduled breaks.

New Road Hotel 

Date: Every Tuesday 

Time: 7p.m. - 10p.m. (2 hour performance slot)

East End London’s newest trendiest hotel housed in an old textile factory are looking for performers to play in their ultra cool & hip bar adjacent to the Mr White’s English Chophouse by Marco Pierre White. Performers would play to both hotel residents, restaurant diners and bar customers per & post dinner. 

Looking for performers - preferably solo or duo, but small groups would be considered. Any music genre except thrash metal. 

£100 fee per slot. Performer can also collect donations and sell their original material. 

Mains power supplied. Performers must supply I.D. and have Public Liability Insurance.

Hammersmith Christmas Market

Date: Saturday 1 December

Time: 10am – 5.30pm Slot duration: 2 hours – can play at more than one pitch

Location: Hammersmith Town Centre, King Street W6

Hammersmith Market takes place on Saturday 1 December. Part of King Street is pedestrianised and we bring in a Pop Up Market of around 100 traders (many design makers) and a range of entertainment. There is also a food quarter with out door seating and a main stage. Last year the Christmas event attracted 16,000 visitors and this year the Spring Market 18,000 visitors. 

We have four busking pitches,

  • Two with power and cover
  • One with cover – no power
  • One with no cover bring your own power

Looking for solos and duos to play jazz, soul, covers, acoustic, classical, reggae, pop, anything suitable for a family event. 

Performers can collect public donations and sell original material. We will put signs up encouraging the public to give generously. We provide a lunch voucher.

Walthamstow Sunday Market - Winter Wonderland 

Dates: 11, 18, 25 November; 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 December; 6 Jan  

Time: 10a.m. - 5p.m. (1 - 3 hour slots) 

Location: Walthamstow High Street (market) 

We are looking for talented musicians/artists to showcase their talents at the Walthamstow Sunday Market. We will have 40 food traders, 60 retail traders, an ice rink, Santa's grotto, amusement rides, and Walthamstow Town Square will turn into Winter Wonderland! You can join us on any of the above mentioned Sundays. There is an average footfall of 40K at the highstreet, and we are expecting these numbers and more! Come and take your spot, let's celebrate together!

We're looking for solos, duos, groups to play any genre of music. Power provided, but performers must bring their own cables. Some pitches have gazebos. 

We are also looking for walk-by acts such as living statues, close contact jugglers and types of street theatre. 

£10 fee per person per slot, plus food and drink token for your act. Performers can collect donations and sell their original material. 

No age restriction as long as under 16 year olds have a chaperone / guardian. Performers must have Public Liability Insurance.

Kingsland Market 

Dates: Every Saturday, 9am – 5pm

Times: 3 performing slots each Saturday - 10am – 12pm, 12pm – 2pm, 2pm – 4pm

Location: Kingsland Market, Kingsland Road, E8 4AA

The newly re-launched Kingsland Market is a weekly street market in Hackney, specialising in second-hand and vintage goods, antiques and collectables. We are looking for buskers to add to the great atmosphere on the market and help cement it as a go-to destination for both local residents and visitors from outside the Borough.

Solo acts, duos and groups of all genres welcome.

Performers can collect tips and sell original material CDs. 

Please bring your own battery powered amp. Performers must have Public Liability Insurance and be 18 or over. We provide gazebo cover.

Old Laundry Yard

The Old Laundry Yard is a street food and community event space that’s open Thursday – Saturday from 11am to 10pm. We would love to have some great independent artists in to showcase their talent.

Type of artist: solo/duo/group/any. Acoustic preferred. We can provide: power supply, speakers, mic and mic-stand. 

Performers can collect tips and will be provided with a meal and drinks.

FountHackney are hosting a Saturday market, in conjunction with Broadway Market, Netil Market and Mare Street Market. The market will offer a range of products, including food and drink. 

We're looking for solos, duos, groups of any music genre. Power is supplied.

Theatre Deli Bar Music 

Dates: weekly 

Times: lunchtime and early evening (2 hour slots)

Location: Theatre Delicatessen Bar/Café Liverpool Street

Theatre Deli is a Charity that exists to make opportunity for aspiring artists. We take over empty space and turn it into a place for Artist development. We are looking to make our Broadgate Bar/Café a Music Venue with regular spots for up and coming musicians. 

We are interested in all types and genres of music. Power is provided. The venue is inside, though going into summer we would like to place people outside at the front on the venue - this would only be when weather permits. 

Fee for performers is £50 plus a drink. Performers can collect tips and sell their own original material. Performers must be 18+

Old Spitalfields Market

Location:  Old Spitalfields Market, Horner Sq, E1 6EW

Old Spitalfields Market is the original East London market brought to life by the characters and stories of the people that trade here. 

We're looking for solo/ duo / group acts for weekend lunchtimes and early evening during the week to add some more ambience to this bustling market. 

Sat and Sun - We're looking for ambient sounds to compliment weekend lunchtime shoppers. (We have residents in neighbouring buildings so no drums allowed!) 

Wed - Fri - We're looking for emerging artists for unplugged sessions. Nothing too generic - we're particularly looking for interesting acts, especially with links to East London.   

We have a stand up piano available that can be set up. Mains power is avialble for low amplification. 

Performers can collect tips and sell their original material. Travel expenses (£20) provided. 

Performers must have Public Liability Insurance and provide I.D.

Ealing Artisan Market

Ealing Artisan, the weekly Sunday food & craft market for W5, has returned to Dickens Yard. The weekly market, which features artisanal food producers, designers, makers and street food traders will run every Sunday and provide a family day out. 

We're looking for acoustic performers - folk, singer/songwriter, covers, alt rock, family friendly.

Deptford Artisan Market

Deptford Artisan Market, South East London's new weekly Saturday market is starting! This space will also host our popular We Love Cheese event on May 5th, alongside the market. This market will bring the best produce, street food, craft and design to Deptford. We'll create a showcase of stalls, as well as live music.

We're looking for performers to create a fun buzzy atmosphere - folk, singer/songwriter, covers, alt rock, acoustic, reggae. Power available if needed.

The Spread

THE SPREAD collaborate with hand picked food producers and street food traders to create markets and events that bring people together.

This is a new busking space opened up by the Town Council, who want to welcome buskers. All acts and genres welcome - solo, duo, groups. Adults only unless chaperoned. 

Performers just need to turn up and play. They can collect public donations and sell CDs.

The Artworks Elephant

Royal Arsenal Farmers' Market

On the SECOND & LAST Saturdays of every Month a Farmers’ market is held from 10am – 3pm in Royal Arsenal throughout the year.

The market is held outside in Artillery Square located in the centre of the Royal Arsenal development and surrounded by residential properties and cultural spaces. It has a great local and onsite following with several hundred people attending every time. Having buskers perform live is a fantastic addition to the market and very popular with those who attend.

We are looking for solo / duo music performers to attend the market and perform live. The performers are asked to play for 1 hour total, 11:30am – 12:00pm, then 1:00pm to 1:30pm with lunch provided in between.  There is access to a busking PA with mic and you would be provided a performance space under one of our market gazebos in the centre of the square surrounded by the seating area.  There is a small fee offered to performers as well as a tasty meal from the market! We do also permit performers to sell CDs and collect tips.

Roundhouse Rising Festival

Date: Saturday 18 February
Time: 1300-1700
Location: Roundhouse, Camden (various spaces within the public areas of building)

The event is a celebration of London's music scene and will feature a number of up-and-coming artists and bands. The producers are inviting buskers to apply to be part of the event. Soloist/duos/trios performing any genre of music are welcome (no drum kits). You will need to provide your own equipment and collections can be taken in the usual way.

Your East End 

Date: Saturday 18 March and Sunday 19 March

Location: Museum of London Docklands, No. 1 Warehouse, West India Quay, London E14 4AL

Time: Sets between 12-4pm

Your East End family festival is all about how the different cultures and communities of the East End have shaped the London we live in today. It has been developed in partnership with a range of local community groups and organisations to explore the community, art, food and culture of the area. The festival will celebrate the memories of the East End past and the vibrancy and diversity of the area today.

We are looking for upbeat and family friendly performers from East London to entertain our visitors.  Solos, duos and groups of any music genre and any age are welcome to apply. There is a fee of £50 per set. Musicians are unable to collect money at the festival but are welcome to sell merchandise. 

NB. Due to the theme of the festival acts must have a connection to East London (e.g. live/work).

North End Road Market Fest 

Date:  Saturday 29 April 2017

Location: Various locations up and down the North End Road Fulham (between Dawes and Lillie Road junctions) London SW6 

Type of act: Soloists, duos or small groups playing upbeat rock, pop, jazz or reggae type music (self contained if possible although there will be limited access to PA and mics).

After the success of the last event in December 2016 which attracted over 17,000 people, The North End Road Action Group are delighted to announce another traffic free extended market on the North End Road in Fulham, London SW6.  Buskers are invited to be part of this bustling event where they are welcome to collect money from the public and sell CDs/merchandise.

A busy fundraising event raising money for animals in their care.

Type of artist: solos, duos and groups welcome of any genre. Upbeat tunes perferred! 

Fee: £100 and performers can sell CDs and merch. They cannot accept tips.

The Big Picnic Festival

Date: Sunday 18 June 

Time: 12 - 4 p.m. 

Venue: Potters Fields Park next to Tower Bridge

The Big Picnic is taking place on Potters Fields Park & St John’s Churchyard on Sunday 18 June, 12pm – 4pm. It is a Community festival to bring local residents and organisations together over a shared picnic. There will be lots of entertainment, music and food stalls on the day, as well as Spitalfields City Farm. Come join us for a family-friendly fun packed day.

No fee, but performers can collect tips and sell CDs. Food and refreshments provided for performers.

Manor Park Summer Festival 

Date: Saturday 15 July

Location: Manor Park Library, 683 - 695 Romford Road, E12 5AD

Time: 1 - 2p.m. 

This is a free community fete for families.

Looking for a talented musician to play upbeat and lively music in a friendly family setting. Solos, duos or groups are welcome to apply.

Please note this opportunity does not have an assigned fee however performers will be free to collect money from visitors and distribute marketing material/sell CDs during your designated times.

If you are there for the whole day you would receive a £10 lunch voucher and would have scheduled breaks.

Busking documentary "Inside the City of Sound" 

Shooting dates: between 21 March and 16 April (soundtrack recording in March and on location filming in April) 

Location: busking locations and Elephant Studio (Elephant & Castle) 

Inside the City of Sound is a documentary telling the story of street musicians around London. The team are final year Digital Film Production students at London South Bank University. 

Seeking 2 street musicians of any variety of instruments for the production of our busking documentary. The production shoot involves coming into our university studio and recording 2 audio tracks per musician + interview voice over + Ensemble final track for end credits. The next stage is 1-2 days filming at the busking location. We have set up an indie gogo campaign to raise funds for producing this documentary. The schedule for shooting dates will be over the course of 21 March to 16 April, but we will let you know once confirmed musicans.

Kidbrooke Village Country Fete

Continuing our series of successful festive events celebrating our street market and local community, The North End Road Action Group are delighted to announce another traffic free extended market on the North End Road in Fulham, London SW6.

Buskers are invited to be part of this bustling day (previous events have attracted between 12,000 and 18,000 people) where they are welcome to collect money from the public and sell CDs/merchandise.  Food vouchers will be available for performers too.

The Eat & Drink Festival is set to have a real street food feel and we are looking for solos, duos and groups to help create a great atmosphere.

The pitch is located in The Great Eat area of the show, a large designated seating area. We will advertise you on our website (70,00 hits a day) and social media, and on show information boards - giving you access to up to 210,00 visitors.

Stonewall Summer Party

The Stonewall Summer Party, taking place this year at the Barbican Conservatory on Thursday 12 July is Stonewall’s second largest fundraising event. Our Summer Party welcomes over 400 of our most influential supporters, from senior executives to famous faces. The money raised at this event goes towards supporting Stonewall and our vital work ensuring lesbian, gay, bi and trans people everywhere are accepted without exception.

The theme of the event is balearic, Ibiza summer night with a café del mar inspired feel and we’re looking for instrumental music to compliment this theme and transport our guests to a warm Ibiza summer night!

We are looking for 3 separate acts to each perform 1-hour sets over the course of the evening and are hoping for a variety of instrumental groups/performers ie. drums, saxophone, guitar. Due to venue sound restrictions, we require non-amplified sound and no group is permitted to have more than 5 players with percussion players needing to us brushes rather than sticks. The event is Thursday 12 July, and runs from 7 -11pm. (please note the running order will be established closer to the time of the event.)

You will be performing for of a high-profile audience and be featured across our social media channels on the night. Food will be provided and travel within London with be covered.

St John’s Hill annual street party

The St John’s Hill annual street party returns this summer on September 9th showcasing the diversity of independent businesses the street has to offer. This free event provides an exciting and enjoyable day out celebrating with live music, street food and an array of attractions and activities to keep everyone entertained.

The Street Party will take place from 11 am to 5 pm along St Johns Hill with a Kid’s Area hosted by Brussels Road and sponsored by Nana Kay’s Healthy Food Company.

A selection of stalls will line the street selling arts, crafts, jewellery and gifts, with many local bars, restaurants and cafes joining the stall holders serving a fantastic range of food and drink throughout the day. FinTECHTalents is a fintech festival with 2 days of innovation, collaboration, live tech demos, music and craft beer. Over 2,000 people attend. 

Looking for acoustic acts and a pop band to entertain attendees. Genre can be folk, contemporary, rock, alternative, blues or pop. 

Payment - £150 acoustic acts – £1,000 band. Amps, microphones and a stage will be provided.
