Eat and Drink Festival

Dates: 17 March - 2 April 2018 

Time(s): Half day slots 11:30a.m. - 2:30p.m. / 2:30p.m. - 5:30p.m. Full day slots also available. 

Location: Olympia London 

The Eat & Drink Festival is set to have a real street food feel and we are looking for solos, duos and groups to help create a great atmosphere.

The pitch is located in The Great Eat area of the show, a large designated seating area. Performers can collect money from visitors, distribute marketing material and sell CDs during your designated slots. You will receive a £10 lunch voucher and take scheduled breaks. We will advertise you on our website (70,00 hits a day) and social media, and on show information boards - giving you access to up to 210,00 visitors.

Piccadilly Market 

Date: Wed, Thurs or Fri every week, depending on services at St James's Church

Time: 1p.m. - 4p.m. (45 min slots) 

Location: Piccadilly Market at St James’s Church, Piccadilly (in the courtyard) 197 Piccadilly, London, W1J 9LL

A bustling market and busy church in the heart of the West End. Looking for solos or duos to entertain customers, visitors, workers around the area etc. to animate the space. 

Performers can collect tips and sell their own original material. Own amp preferred, although there is power. ID and Public Liability Insurance required.

THE SPREAD operate farmers markets and street food markets across London that host award-winning farmers, producers and street food traders.

They are looking to book solo, duo or groups in for performances until the end of 2017.

Fee - White City - £100. Performers can sell their own original material but not accept tips.

Well Street Market

Well Street Market is a bustling weekly street market in Hackney, looking for buskers to provide a fun family friendly vibe - solos, duos, groups. All genres welcome. 

Performers can collect tips and sell original material CDs. 

Please being your own battery powered amp. Performers must have Public Liability Insurance and be 18 or over.

Looking for acoustic, bands, duos, anyone is welcome! Easy listening, covers, originals, pop, indie, funk, jazz, folk or spoken word.

Buckingham becomes Buskingham

Dates: Any, but preferred on Tuesdays and Saturdays (Market days)

Location: adjacent to Town Council Chamber

Time: daylight hours 

This is a new busking space opened up by the Town Council, who want to welcome buskers. All acts and genres welcome - solo, duo, groups. Adults only unless chaperoned. 

Performers just need to turn up and play. They can collect public donations and sell CDs. 

Public Liability Insurance preferred.

The Artworks Elephant 

Dates: Evening/weekend slots

Location: The Artworks, Elephant Road, Elephant & Castle, London, SE17 1AY 

Times: 6pm - 8pm evenings, 12 - 2 weekends/bank holidays

The Artworks Elephant is a hub for the vibrant and diverse Elephant & Castle community, built from repurposed shipping containers. Food and drink outlets surround an outdoor courtyard.  

Looking for soloists and duos to create a relaxed chilled out vibe. 

Performers can collect tips and sell CDs. Food and drink provided.

Elephant Social Market

Hard Rock Cafe, London  

Date: every Thursday 

Location: Hard Rock Cafe, 150 Old Park Lane, London, W1K 1QY

Time: from 9p.m. 

Following a few great weeks, Hard Rock are continuing to trial an evening with a series of busker slots with the aim to make this a regular long-term addition to their programming. They are looking for 4 buskers each Thursday.

Royal Arsenal Farmers' Market

On the SECOND & LAST Saturdays of every Month a Farmers’ market is held from 10am – 3pm in Royal Arsenal throughout the year.

The market is held inside a space called BUILDING 10, a large concerted military canon carriage factory. It is a popular market with several hundred people attending every time and has great acoustics for a live performance!

We are looking mainly for solo / duo music performers to attend the market and perform live. It was a great success in 2017 so would like to continue into 2018.

The performers are asked to play for 1 hour total, 11:30am – 12:00pm, then 1:00pm to 1:30pm with lunch provided in between.  We are particularly looking for LOCAL musicians.

There is access to a small PA with mic, however we do prefer acoustic performances as much as possible.

There is a small fee offered to performers as well as a tasty meal from the market! We do also permit performers to sell CDs.

Roundhouse Rising Festival

Date: Saturday 18 February
Time: 1300-1700
Location: Roundhouse, Camden (various spaces within the public areas of building)

The event is a celebration of London's music scene and will feature a number of up-and-coming artists and bands. The producers are inviting buskers to apply to be part of the event. Soloist/duos/trios performing any genre of music are welcome (no drum kits). You will need to provide your own equipment and collections can be taken in the usual way.

Your East End 

Date: Saturday 18 March and Sunday 19 March

Location: Museum of London Docklands, No. 1 Warehouse, West India Quay, London E14 4AL

Time: Sets between 12-4pm

Your East End family festival is all about how the different cultures and communities of the East End have shaped the London we live in today. It has been developed in partnership with a range of local community groups and organisations to explore the community, art, food and culture of the area. The festival will celebrate the memories of the East End past and the vibrancy and diversity of the area today.

We are looking for upbeat and family friendly performers from East London to entertain our visitors.  Solos, duos and groups of any music genre and any age are welcome to apply. There is a fee of £50 per set. Musicians are unable to collect money at the festival but are welcome to sell merchandise. 

NB. Due to the theme of the festival acts must have a connection to East London (e.g. live/work).

North End Road Market Fest 

Date:  Saturday 29 April 2017

Time: 11am - 4pm

Location: Various locations up and down the North End Road Fulham (between Dawes and Lillie Road junctions) London SW6 

Type of act: Soloists, duos or small groups playing upbeat rock, pop, jazz or reggae type music (self contained if possible although there will be limited access to PA and mics).

After the success of the last event in December 2016 which attracted over 17,000 people, The North End Road Action Group are delighted to announce another traffic free extended market on the North End Road in Fulham, London SW6.  Buskers are invited to be part of this bustling event where they are welcome to collect money from the public and sell CDs/merchandise.

Mayhew Animal Home's Street Party 

A busy fundraising event raising money for animals in their care. 

Date: Sunday 21 May 

Time: 11:00 - 16:30 (slot times approx 1 hour)

Type of artist: solos, duos and groups welcome of any genre. Upbeat tunes perferred! 

Fee: £100 and performers can sell CDs and merch. They cannot accept tips. 

Mains power available. Marquee on hand in case of bad weather...

The Big Picnic Festival

Date: Sunday 18 June 

Time: 12 - 4 p.m. 

Venue: Potters Fields Park next to Tower Bridge

The Big Picnic is taking place on Potters Fields Park & St John’s Churchyard on Sunday 18 June, 12pm – 4pm. It is a Community festival to bring local residents and organisations together over a shared picnic. There will be lots of entertainment, music and food stalls on the day, as well as Spitalfields City Farm. Come join us for a family-friendly fun packed day.

No fee, but performers can collect tips and sell CDs. Food and refreshments provided for performers. 

Solos, duos and groups can apply. 


Manor Park Summer Festival 

Date: Saturday 15 July

Location: Manor Park Library, 683 - 695 Romford Road, E12 5AD

Time: 1 - 2p.m. 

This is a free community fete for families.

Looking for a talented musician to play upbeat and lively music in a friendly family setting. Solos, duos or groups are welcome to apply. 

Performer fee - £400 max and performers can sell CDs. Mains power is provided.

Leadenhall Market

This modern retail hub within a spectacular Victorian market is looking for soloists, duos or trios to play swing / soft rock. Performers must have Public Liability Insurance. Power is supplied in this undercover market. 

There is a £140 performance fee as collection of tips and selling CDs is not allowed. 

Deadline for applications 6 June. 


Opening night at The PIG at Combe Hotel, Honiton, Devon 


Saturday 9 July: 7 pm - midnight

The hotel is looking for buskers for an acoustic set (blues and slide guitar a bonus!) at the launch night party.

In return for free performances throughout the day, as well as offering you the chance to showcase your talents, we advertise you on our website (70,00 hits a day) and social media, on show information boards and give you access to up to 250,00 visitors. You would busk at The Great Eat area of the show, a large designated seating area.

Please note this opportunity does not have an assigned fee however performers will be free to collect money from visitors and distribute marketing material/sell CDs during your designated times.

Busking documentary "Inside the City of Sound" 

Shooting dates: between 21 March and 16 April (soundtrack recording in March and on location filming in April) 

Location: busking locations and Elephant Studio (Elephant & Castle) 

Inside the City of Sound is a documentary telling the story of street musicians around London. The team are final year Digital Film Production students at London South Bank University. 

Seeking 2 street musicians of any variety of instruments for the production of our busking documentary. The production shoot involves coming into our university studio and recording 2 audio tracks per musician + interview voice over + Ensemble final track for end credits. The next stage is 1-2 days filming at the busking location. We have set up an indie gogo campaign to raise funds for producing this documentary. The schedule for shooting dates will be over the course of 21 March to 16 April, but we will let you know once confirmed musicans.

Kidbrooke Village Country Fete

Date: Saturday 15 July

This is a free event open to the local community which we are expecting between 500 – 600 people to attend throughout the day. There will be a range of free activities on offer including fairground rides, face painting, mini farm, crafts and a bird of prey display. We will also have a selection of delicious street food stalls attending the event, as well as a Young’s bar and other refreshments.

Ponders End Pop up Street Market

A bustling new pop up street market with a mix of street food, fresh produce and other goods. 

Soloists, duos and bands welcome to apply. All music genres considered. 

£50 fee and performers can collect tips in traditional busking style. There is no power provided. 

Performers must have Public Liability Insurance. All performers under 16 must have a parent/guardian chaperone.


Street Eats 

Date: Friday 28 July 

Time: 5p.m. - 9:30p.m. (slots are approx. 30 mins) 

Location: Old Spitalfields Market, 16 Horner Square, London E1 6EW

Street Eats is a two-day, free entry street food festival taking place at Old Spitalfields Market. Featuring 24 food and drink traders, the festival is expected to attract a footfall of over 60,000 people. It is London's largest street food festival. 

Solo, duo, groups, any genre welcome. Performer must bring their own amp. 

Performers can collect tips and sell CDs.

dunnhumby are a data science company with significant heritage to west London and the local Brook Green community. Looking for soloists, duos or bands to entertain at a summer BBQ for dunnhumby family and friends. 

All genres welcome. Mains power available, but self sufficient performers a bonus to allow location flexibility. 

Fee is £150 per hour (plus travel expenses) Performers are not allowed to collect tips, but can sell CDs.

Do you Vintage? Vintage & Craft Fair

A popular vintage & craft fair with several hundred people attending. The indoor venue has great acoustics for a live performance. There is access to a small PA with mic, however we prefer acoustic performances as much as possible.

Looking for a vintage-themed act to perform live – solo, duo or trio preferred. We are particularly looking for LOCAL singers/musicians.

Peckham Festival 

Dates: Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 September

This four-day festival (14 - 17) endeavours to reach out to and reflect residents of all demographics while showcasing Peckham as a hub of cultural and artistic importance. 

With over 200 events – including live music performances, film screenings, workshops, walks and talks, Open Studios, and art exhibitions – taking place over a single weekend, Peckham Festival collaborates with local organisations and individuals to deliver its wide-ranging initiatives.

Soccer SixFest is a fun day of football and music with up to 60 Rock & Indie bands taking part. All helping raise money & awareness for the charity Musicians Against Homelessness. A great opportunity for networking with music industry influencers and their peers as well as showcasing your acts.

Looking for solo and duo rock and indie acts. Performers must over 18 and have Public Liability Insurance.

Balham Banquet 

Date: Sunday 24 September

Now in its third year, the Balham Banquet is a food street festival which offers a fun day for all. Last year it attracted over 1,500 local residents and visitors. It has over 30 stalls, exquisite street food, alfresco bars, music and childrens' activities. http://balhamfoodfestival.com/

FEAST - the first ever food and drink festival in the moat of the Tower of London, is looking for musical performers across a range of styles to perform over the three days. A bustling hip hub for shopping, eating and drinking and cool events. Old Spitalfields Market is lookign to set up a permanent busking pitch.

Hammersmith Christmas Market 

Date: Saturday 2 December 

Time: 11a.m. - 5p.m. (1 - 2 hour slots) 

Location: Hammersmith, King Street, W6 

This is a family friendly traffic free event. We expect the market to attract 10 - 15,000 people. There will be 100 + stalls, a stage of performance and lots of street entertainment. 

Looking for musicians across all genres - seasonal, jazz, soul, rock etc. 

Performers can collect tips and sell their own original material. Lunch will be provided.

London's new contemporary winter festival is looking for solo/duo/trio/quartet acts. Wandering and open air but also small stage/vocal pa (covered outdoor space) available. Performers are asked to be self sufficient power wise.

There is a performer fee of £140 and you can sell your own merch but not collect donations. Proof of i.d. required. Performers must be over 16.

Crisis at Christmas 

Dates: 23 - 29 December 

Each Christmas we open centres across London to bring companionship and vital services to people at one of the hardest times of the year. This is only made possible through the collective effort and generosity of thousands of volunteers. You can watch a short video about our 2016 project here.

To make Christmas happen we need performers, performers that would be able to create a vibrant and fun environment. Our entertainment service helps our guests to regain confidence, build self-esteem and act as a gateway to the other services provided at the centres.
